Study Tips for JC Biology
In order to score well for the ‘A’ Level Biology papers, students have to study smart and focus on the key concepts of each topic, it is also important for them to look at the big picture and be able to draw the links between the relevant concepts taught. Keywords are also vital, and students must be able to memorize as well as analyzing them when answering questions.
Understand the key concepts of each topic
JC Biology is an extremely content heavy subject, it is important for students to focus on the key aspects of each topic and to learn with understanding instead of trying to memorize everything.
Draw linkages between the many concepts
Many of the concepts taught are related to each other, it is crucial that students are able to link the different concepts together to get a clearer idea of how things work as a whole as questions are becoming increasingly integrated.
Analyze the keywords in the question
Students tend to miss out on keywords or provide answers that are unnecessarily long as they merely regurgitate what they have memorized. Instead focus on the keywords of the question and provide succinct answers that address the question.
