JC Math Tuition
Bishan Tuition Centres and its featured centres offer region-based Math Tuition programs that are specifically catered to help JC students who experience difficulty transitioning from ‘O’ to ‘A’ Level Math. Students will be going through stimulating classes on Pure Math, Statistics and Probability under the guidance of our dedicated and patient tutors. These lessons will help them to pick up vital skills that gives them the confidence and ability to answer the increasingly popular application questions that students commonly struggle with, confidently.
The Math Tuition programs at Bishan Tuition Centres strives to help students build a strong foundation in mathematics. It is also important that students are able to gain access to quality learning materials in order to maximize their learning.
Our tutors will cover the Pure Math and the Probability and Statistics component in great detail to ensure students understand each topic thoroughly. After which students will reinforce their learning through numerous practices.
Quality Summary Notes
Students will be able to refer to quality summary notes that are prepared by their tutors. These notes will contain the key concepts and formulas of each topic and makes it easier for students to retain and revise upon vital information.
Consistent consultations with our tutors
The tutors are aware that JC Math can be demanding at the ‘A’ Levels. As such tutors offer their time for consultations willingly so students can clarify their doubts and seek direction with ease.
Objectives for JC Mathematics
The objective of JC Math Tuition at Bishan Tuition Centres is to develop creative thinking in our students and to encourage them to be inquisitive learners who are confident in their ability. They are encouraged to take charge of their own learning and to derive the solutions on their own, allowing them to maximize their learning development. This way, they will be able to come up with solutions to problems under the pressure of the examination.
Thinking out of the box
Math questions can be very abstract and more often than not, solutions are not straightforward. It is important that students are not rigid in their thinking and instead develop the flexibility and creativity to see beyond such questions.
Answer questions efficiently and confidently
Through rigorous practice, students will become more familiar with the different questions thus becoming more confident. This gives them more time to check their answers reducing the likelihood of careless mistakes.
Nurture inquisitive learners
We encourage our students to take charge of their own learning and to constantly clarify their doubts. It is important that they clear their misconceptions and doubts as soon as possible to avoid complications at then end.
